I expect good value food & cheap beer (luckily I love Ruddles ) and that's exactly what you get.

Walkabout, Blackpool

Been once to watch football. If I go again I'll eat before I get there. Like the only other Walkabout I've ever been to (and swore never to go again) the food is OK at best but no real ale means it's not the sort of pub I like. Due to my experience at the Litten Tree I might have to come here again but not if I find an alternative.
Look, it's a Walkabout if you've been you know what to expect. If you haven't - don't bother

The Litten Tree, Blackpool

Had I posted this last week it would have been a very good report. I work in Blackpool Mon - Fri and only discovered this pub a few weeks ago. I've eaten there a few times and have always found th eservice to be excellent and the food very good value. It mught not be cordon bleu but for it very good for the price.
However, I went there on Wednesday 3rd Nov, sat at a table, checked the menu, and waited to be served. And waited, and waited, and waited. After about 25 minutes I decided that the slender blond waitress couldn't see me.So I left! I know I should have made a fuss there and then but the football was on and I was keen not to miss any. Although being an Arsenal supporter the result just compounded my disappointment of the evening.
So instead of an 8 it's a 4 and it's a pub I'll probably not go back to.
