The New Inn, Eype

Out for a Sunday walk, wandered in, service was OK. Tried my Ploughman's test, it was outstanding, Scotch egg, cooked to order. Beer was very good, Palmer's at it's best. I think the guy said they had recently taken over, good start.

The Who'd Have Thought It, Milton Combe

Salvation! Milton Combe is about to have a happy christmas. The pub we loved and thought we'd lost has been refurbished and reopened with new owners Chris and Ruth. Dogs are welcome..not the ones that crap indoors!. The food is good, best of all, the beer is back to it's sparkling best. The settees that had become a feature of the bar are gone and I'm delighted to say the pub looks and feels like a pub.

The Who'd Have Thought It, Milton Combe

Lived in Milton Combe since 1979, just got back after working in USA for 2 years, new owners Jackie and Paul have made a huge difference, beer improved, food is terrific.
