The Princess Royal, Runfold

Since it was done up it looks a bit like a hotel function room but they keep the beer like they know what they're doing and the food is good proper food and not mucked about. Decent portions as well. It's never too busy either which is nice because I bleeding hate drumming my fingers waiting waiting all the time when I've come out with the missus to spend my money.

The New Inn, Blackwater

Food can take a while, but the portions are man sized and the welcome is friendly. Even though they do food you are still welcome if you go in just for a pint which is not true in all the food places I know.

Thank God there are still decent pubs left round here. The new manager is a lovely gal and I'm glad she is keeping the quiz nites on. Food is good too.

The Swan, Ash Vale

After waiting a rediculous amount of time and having complained once already they came over to ask us what we had ordered! The stressy waitress said we couldn't speak to the manager since he was cooking because they were shortstaffed in the kitchen. But surely the manager is in charge of how many staff are on in the first place? The bloke who reccommended this dive to us must be on crack.
