I agree with Jamie's comments. Cracking beers but there's this odd stand off at the end of the night when the inner circle at the bar sit there with full pints and start glaring at the "others" at 11:20 to get out so they can resume their drinking...
Takes the sheen off it.
I'm a big Milton beer fan and really like the Pembury but this place is a bit like a youth club with beer...

Further to my previous review, I went in early Friday evening and on Saturday night. Both food and drink were superb, my father and I both enjoyed the Nero very much!
Can also echo the comments made by other people, it does seem to be busier these days, we still had no trouble getting a table just that it was nice to see more people enjoying the pub!
Keep up the good work!

A real hidden gem this pub, well worth checking out.
Agree with Mr Lunch, the bar snacks are the next level as far as I'm concerned. Why don't more pubs have a box of pork pies and scotch eggs to serve up??? Simple.
The Adnam's best and Broadside were well worth seeking out.

A fantastic pub with a fine selection of well kept beers.
It was busy the Friday evening that we visited but both staff and patrons were very friendly. One guy at the bar confessed to travelling all the way from Essex to drink here - high praise indeed.
Well worth checking out.

Cracking ales and great food - I really enjoyed the place. Milton's Nero is worth the trip alone.
I have visited on a number of occasions and it always seems a little on the empty side, I hope for the owners (Milton) and the Landlords sake they are busy enough to keep going as it would be a shame to lose a quality pub like this one.

The Nobody Inn, Newington Green
This is a great pub. Mags runs a tight ship and has some of the friendliest bar staff in London. She also keeps the ale in great condition (usually Tribute or Pride plus a guest).
The St George's beer festival was a great success and they had a great choice of ale on.
