The Broker, Leigh on Sea

Best selection of real ales for many a mile and they're all very well kept by the "guvnor" who clearly knows his trade and also employs cheerful, friendly bar staff. Very convivial atmosphere and excellent conversation. Well maintained pub and a must if you want an excellent pint - or several.

A day watching cricket at Fenner's followed by a few superb pints of ale and good conversation in this truly outstanding pub - what more can life offer?

The Coopers Tavern, Burton-Upon-Trent

Superb gem of a pub - not easy to find, but definitely worth the search! Wonderful beer and Management who are enthusiastic about their pub without being tediously anorak-ish. The food is also excellent.
