And another thing, they do work very hard with no complaint or attitude. Very good pub. Excellent view from the garden.

Beer ok. Prawn sandwich just about ok but lousy value. Ploughman's lunch appalling. £9 for enough processed food to make one sarney, soggy pickles. Nice unpretentious interior. I hate Green King beer, Tim Taylor ok. The staff had a bit of an argument while I waited, and it took some time to input an order of two pints and two lunches into the till. By the time she finished she had forgotten how many pints I had ordered. (Two).

Tempted in by an amazing latin-jazzy trio, (Tener Duende) I don't normally like music in small pubs but this lot were excellent. Lovely building, great location. Beer ok but I was driving so didn't have much.

Excellent. Good ale, large quantities of tasty food, friendly staff.
Can't somebody start a chain of pubs with a "Good ale, large quantities of tasty food, friendly staff" theme?

A bit bare in winter. Called in the other day, there were only two handpumped beers on, ok but one went off while we were there. If they pride themselves on choice of interesting beers they need to watch it.

Horrible loud music, Young's ordinary served so cold you couldn't taste it, when it warmed up you wished you still couldn't. Nice riverside room that you can't use unless you want their food, which isn't much cop.

I agree with comments about the music. It's Crap, too loud and generally annoying. Beer ok, food just so unreliable it really isn't worth the risk.

Considerably improved. A good range of draught beers, sometimes the condition is patchy but they have always changed it if it isn't right. Good food available late at night. Music sometimes but you can usually find a corner to escape it if you want. The main thing is the attitude of the staff seems pretty good.

A gem. But if you must have music in a tiny pub, why not have somewhere in the tiny pub where it's quiet, then you would be able to see if people liked it or found it f***I** annoying. Or just put a speaker behind the bar and nowhere else so the children can tell how loud it is.

Ye White Hart, Barnes
Refurbished in the All-Bar-one style. No character, large, echoing, barn-like ambience. No comfort.
