The mighty Titan speaks for all of us. Let us follow the mighty Titan. He is the messiah. What we need is a good opening weekend party! We need live music and great quiz nights in there. A happy locals pub is a pub that makes money!!

I wonder how much The Fairmile is worth? Obviously more as development land I would have thought. Perhaps we should all get together and buy it. We could start the "Fairmile Consortium" and offer 'half a dinari' for it! Let us all take off one shoe as a sign!!

I feel it is a shame that alot of the posts have been removed from this site. It appears that the 'not allowed to give an opinion' pixies have been on the loose again. We all know the pub is closed and by the look of things it might remain that way for a while. It is a shame because it was only a few years ago that The Fairmile use to be a great community pub. It had great managers, bar staff, entertainment and something always going on. I have seen many refurbishments and managers alike but only in the last few years the idea of turning a once thriving local into an eating house is one that has never and will never work. Take it back 5-10-15 years ago and a pub that did food worked. Not a food house that serves beer.

I have received an email from RickyB saying that the phone number is not working for the pub. He has been able to get hold of the place to tell them he is not about this Friday night. If anyone pops in could they please let them know as he is in Watford. All the best. X (ps: been in and it seems alot better.)
