Ship and Lobster, Gravesend

This is a real pub. It serves great real ales, and is populated by real people doing real jobs in real life, it's also really friendly. I have not found a pub that keeps its ales better, they are all served with a passion for the best quality for the customer. Grab your pint and then head outside to sit in the sunshine and watch the boats sailing past on the Thames. This is not a pub you find by mistake, you have to go looking for it...

The Fountain, New Malden

Beer is fine, and the food is cheap....if you can get someone to serve it all to you! You feel like an imposition stood at the bar, as the staff all scurry off to find something else to do. Can get too smokey. Great screens for football and nice enough garden in the summer - but where else can you sit out in the sun with a pint in NM?

Bar Malden, New Malden

The real ales are well looked after, but staff are not as welcoming as they could be, especially at closing time. Very smokey pub. Non-smoking area is a joke! Two tables at the back of the pub next to all the commuter smokers. Not a place to eat if you want to taste anything other than smoke!
