The Zetland Arms, South Kensington

This is the kind of pub you wander into by accident. Awful staff who seem baffled by simple requests and you never recognise a face when you wander in.

So many better gaffs, why bother?

The Anglesea Arms, Chelsea

My lady loves this place, I can't see what the attraction is.

I shan't post anything to negative though as the main barman is an absolute diamond and always makes me laugh.

Maybe that's why she likes it.

The Builders Arms, Kensington

Alright food, trendy selection of beers, not the best staff in the world when it comes to attentiveness - a hip back street pub that just isn't cool enough.

We are locals who prefer the Queen's Arms (why no comments page for that -huh?)a few blocks away. But we do come back on Mondays for the free comedy show. That is great value, often better than some of the paid shows we go see in Soho.

The pub could do with board games or live music or a quiz machine.

The Churchill Arms, Kensington

Lovely pub, lovely thai food, consistent staff.

Always a tight squeeze but wherever you get stuck there some interesting tat on the wall
