Sorry jmorgs(??) Clearly you're wrong,

Made the mistake of coming down to Leamington and spending a Friday evening in this place (AT A FRIENDS REQUEST!!)

The place smelt of P*** and the roof leaked into my friend's pint. NOT GOOD!!

I live in Yorkshire and have seen more atmosphere in Leeds mortuary!!!!!

It hasn't got any better!!

Such a shame. This used to be one of the best little haunts in the area and I believe even won an award for being the 'Best pub in the Midlands'. Sadly this is no longer the case, over the last year the quality food and beer and warm welcome have all vanished along with many of the customers!!
The Cricketers now resembles something not disimilar to a working-mens club, it's dirty and is really smokey with no music - the TV is always on (even if there's no sport on??!!)
I have to agree with Dell on this one, the interest in the pub has gone; not only from the regulars but also it would appear from the management!!!!
