Quite a nice pub, the food was ok (Sunday Luch), they had Addlestones by Gaymers on tap which was quite nice and a Scrumpy (not sure what) They had the normal lagers and a couple of Ales. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be re-visiting this pub hopefully soon.

Not a bad place, maybe a bit rough and ready kind of look but friendly staff (they were to us anyway). Had a few ciders on tap all of which looked and tasted ok. Also had fruili on tap and a couple of European lagers. For smokers there is a area in the rear garden.

Great little local pub and restaurant. The food comes in a generous size and reasonably priced. Service is friendly and polte. Not sure what ales they sell but they do have thatchers in tap.

The London Stone, Cannon Street
Last visit december 2009. I like this pub. The atmosphere and decor is a little strange but in a good way. It can get a bit cramped and needs or needed a little repair here and there. The food wasn't great. The lager/cider was refreshing and the service was friendly and polite.
Stufromsaturday, thanks for the history of the stone. The history of pubs and names can add to the atmosphere.

When ever I'm in town this is usually my first port of call due to locaton. My last visit was mid December 2009.
The outside area provides some interesting views and is a great place to people watch.
The lager/cider was ok served the normal brands.
The service was friendly enough but it took a couple of attempts to be understood. (I come from north London)
My main disapointment with the pub was the cleanliness especially the toilets.

The Roman Bath, York
Visited this pub in late 2012. Bar staff were friendly as were the locals. There was good band were playing but the pub seemed a little small once they setup luckily it wasn't raining and the garden felt a good option. The beer and cider was of small choice.
