The Cottage, Fulham

I prefer the pub without the screens. Only use it on FFC match days, but it's great because you can at least get a drink at the bar without waiting 15 mins like in other pubs. If the screens come back it will get too crowded again. I know the pub needs the business, but I do like not being crammed in like a sardine as in all the other pubs and even occasionally being able to get a seat. Call me unconventional, but I like it the way it is now...

The Midday Sun, Chipstead

Staff always pleasant and the food is honest and good value. I go occasionally to this pub to watch football with my Dad or 11 year old son in the family bar and it's fine - always very accommodating to families, but at the same time not over-run with noisy blighters. The main bar area is not my cup of tea, however, a bit loud. There are certainly worse pubs in the area...

The Well House Inn, Mugswell

Nice old fashioned pub, with calm pleasant atmosphere. Not sure about the piped music - OK if you like 60s. But otherwise the food is good - decent sized helpings - and overall very good value. Good choice of real ale. Definitely one of the best pubs in the area.
