St Margarets Tavern, St Margarets
The comments here are pretty much on the money. It's an attractive pub from the outside, though once you've spent some time the other side of the doors you don't feel that excited about staying. Still worth a look though!

Not sure if these people have been to the same place! But our experience was a little different! Good size pub and to be fair it is a nice pub inside, though the garden leaves something to be desired. Not sure if we were witness to the same couple but she seemed to have an aire of seeming authority about her as she stomped around the place taking more care in abusing what seemed to be a long suffering partner rather than tending to any kind of work, the wife and I felt most sorry for him though. This unfortunatley made us feel most uncomfortable during our short stop as we were intending on sampling the food as we had actually heard good things. Though I must say we couldn't have coped any longer, this also seemed to be the case for the rest of the world as other than us it was completely deserted. This being the only one though as we took a walk into twickenham everywhere else was quite busy! Shame as it seemed to have great potential.

The Marble Hill, St Margarets
What a fantastic little pub! Directly opposite Marble Hill park so great for an after dinner stroll! The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is faultless, lovely little booths in the garden for the smokers among us and the prices aren't terrible either! I like to visit when popping in to twickenham as it's a convenient halfway house for me.
