Best of a bad bunch on the highstreet in Surbiton but thats not saying much. Miserable bar staff. So so beer keeping. Never tastes great but not bad per say. Food was diabolical. I would be served a better sandwich by my 6 year old niece. Stale, cheap supermarket style bread and meagre fillings. Only reason really to go in here is to watch the football. Has definately gone downhill over the last two years or so.

Eventhough it's a bit 80s wine bar inside I do like this place. 4 nice , well kept ales on and lovely scotch eggs.
Had a wherry and a few summer lightnings. Very nice compared to the madness up the road at the craft brewing company.

The Slaughtered Lamb, Clerkenwell
Visited on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Great ( tho expensive) range of beers on tap and decent enough sandwiches. Good music and laid back atmosphere. The service however was like nothing I've ever seen before. Girl behind the bar was Definately on another planet. Slow and about as enthusiastic as a man being led to the electric chair. I swear she sighed as she banged down our cutlery at our table. Like a teenager being forced into household chores. Was so unreal we couldn't help but laugh. Not enough here to tempt me back I'm afraid .

Think this pub has a misleadingly low rating. Perfectly well kept ales, reasonably priced, well cooked food and a huge garden which is great for families. Freindly service.

Nice pub. Nicely refurbished. Good, choice of well kept ales. Food was hit and miss. My pork belly was lovely whilst the steak pie not so. Ice cream to die for.
Would definately go back. Would be nice to spend an afternoon here.

The Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak
NIce pub. Good selection of beers. Loved the thornbridge ( cant remember which one). Great music ( vinyl only). Didnt try the food and had to drag my salivating mate and his dog away from the pork and crackling.
