The Hog's Head, Smithfields

Ain't so bad. Good for lunchtimes and Friday nights after work. Good quiz machines, pool table, and outside area for the summer. A few bords sometimes too.

too big and bland. No atmosphere.

The Carpenters Arms, Marble Arch

Perfect 'local' pub. Good staff, always seats, dart board, sky sports.

Two Floors, Soho

Small, dark, so much furniture crammed in it was like a Courts closing sale. Not much choice on the beer front, bar staff struggle with English. Don't hound you out the door after closing though which is a bonus. Not really worth the effort of finding it.

French House, Soho

Strange little pub. Only serves in halves, beer's good though. Standard prices for area. Locals are oddballs (older gents who like to stare).
Nice for quiet drink.
