The Black Horse, Thurnham

I'm glad to see this place gets good reviews here. I've only been twice but both times the outstandingly good experience has been down to their great food, lovely decor and friendly staff.

Probably the best pub within a 10 mile radius.

Don't tell the Maidstone chavs that though....

The Old White Lion, East Finchley

I think this place deserves more than some of the negative reviews on here. An overall nice vibe, and quite spacious too.

The Freemasons Arms, Hampstead

I'm sad to say this - but the crowd is a bit 'flash cash', the service is slow and it's bloody expensive. The food is quite good but there is MUCH better to be found nearby.

Spaniards Inn, Hampstead Heath

Hiya,

This is my local, and what a lucky git I am. Really really cute pub, best range of ales and belgian beers round here- and I met Liam Gallagher in the beer garden once.

Food is good but not amazing, but definitely worth a visit.

Smugglers Inn, Osmington Mills

Hiya,

I find it hard to imagine how someone could have had a bad time in this pub. We discovered it on a recent trip to Dorset and we thought it was brilliant! Food was good, nice staff, beautiful setting and good range of beers.

Definitely a thumbs up from our camp.
