A lovely pub, always well attended, very good quiz night on Mondays and great food, especially Sunday lunches. Definitely one to visit!

Roomy bareboards pub, mostly young student clientele. Very friendly lively place. Quiz on a Monday night which was great fun, run by a really cool dude! We went there quite a bit whilst holidaying in Salisbury. Although we are not student age (unless you count us as mature students!) this did not put us off. Like this pub.

The Haunch of Venison, Salisbury
A pleasant and friendly pub, albeit a little on the small side! The skeletal hand with playing cards is in the room on the left as you go one flight of steps from the main bar. Next floor up is the restaurant, which my brother and I liked very much - there was an all in one menu available of three courses for �9.90. We dined there twice in the week we holidayed in Salisbury. The locals were really friendly.

Lovely Victorian pub, very pleasant to spend time in. Good varied menu and good service. Good place to meet up for lunch if you work in this neck of the woods. Even better now that there is no smoking there!

Very pleasant, quite roomy, pub, not very far from the railway station. It's a Wetherspoon's Pub and has a good menu. A decent selection of vegetarian options, which I liked. Friendly staff and good service. Worth a visit.

A friendly pub with decent grub. Gets very busy during the cricket festival. There is a big screen which shows sporting events (well there was when I last went (2006), so I assume it's still there).

The Dry Dock, Leeds
Handily located near Leeds Metropolitan University and the University of Leeds. Lovely place to sit upstairs in the open and have a beer, cider or whatever on a summer evening.
