The Griffin, Carlisle

The pub that time forgot for me. Typical 'beside the station' pub. Plenty of people in for a couple while waiting for connections etc. Looks in need of a lick of paint. Toilets are scruffy. Oh, and the music, stuck in the mid-90's, please change it!

The William Rufus, Carlisle

The main 'starting point' for many peoples night out. Always busy at weekends from 7-11, tho is open til 1/2am. Plenty of drinks on offer, and a decent menu. One of the better establishments.

The Cumberland Inn, Carlisle

One of the best Pub's on Botchergate - Simple as! Wide ranging clientele, if you've been you'll know what I mean. DJ on Thurs to Sun, tho Nevy has rumoured to have been sacked! Disgraceful!
