Part of the J D Whetherspoons' chain. A decent example in my opinion. Always has plenty in whenever I go in regardless of the time of day. Always has the standard Whetherpoon's choices plus 8 hand pulled guest ales which are constantly changing and well kept. Food standards ok if that's what you want but the beer is better.

It's the local pub to me but tend to only go in to watch a game, same as many of the locals. Quiet otherwise apart from Sundays, they can have a few in then. It's a pub mainly for the fellas around Thackley although their wives might turn up on a Sunday lunchtime with them. Beers okay, same each time I'm in. No hand pumps for variance or choice.

Straight forward boozer! Usually very busy on a Friday/Saturday. Lager is the main drink of choice although it does have Tetley's cask on hand pull as standard but it did surprise me having a guest ale of Black Sheep Best Bitter. Lively place full of the working lads from the area and the start of many a crawl. Sky TV is in there as a staple.

Disappointing. Took me 10 minutes to get a Hobgoblin pulled and the quality was poor. I really like the beer normally but today it wasn't up to scratch! The decor was done out to try be quite modern but didn't really suit.

This place is more of a go between from the pubs to the clubs. Better for a boogie than a pint. Big place, always with a few folks in there.

The pub is a cosy little place, done out in quite modern decor. The drink choice is the normal you would expect, nothing out of the ordinary. But a nice little place to stop off for a drink on the odd occasion.

Went in for a drink on a mid Sunday afternoon drink. Watched the end of the F1 but the crowd wasn't really for me. Previous comments say alot about the place.the choice was fairly disappointed and really expensive. Drank Rekordelig on tap - £4.80 a pint! Extortion! The bar had 3 handpulls ales but just one on - Leeds pale ale - which every pub in the city centre has so nothing special! If you're in the building, just head down to Bierkeller in the basement instead.

This pub is quiet during the day and picks up in the late evening. It is more of a nightclub dressed as a pub than an actual pub. This one's for those looking for a boogey rather than a sit down with a great pint, but you can't knock how they fill it on a Saturday night!

Fanny's Ale And Cider House, Saltaire
Absolutely stonking alehouse! I love this place! Great beer, and there's always something different on! A must visit whenever in Saltaire! The place is deceptively big compared to what it looks like from the outside! A great haunt for the more 'mature' as this place is not for the 'kids'; a bit of a rock edge to the place. It is always busy with a great crowd filling all the little nooks and crannies! As I say, one of my favourite watering holes around and highly recommend!

Great building and a well furnished place. The bar offers a bit of everything for everyone, and as a result, everyone goes. Always have a few different ales on, and the quality of the beer is good but few working there can pull a decent pint which is a shame, however they are more than willing to top them up so can't really knock them.

Went in for a few drinks with a mate, more impressed with the food (which was stonking) than the ale choice last night. 5 hand pulls on which were all set to relatively pale ales, I mean you can't knock a tetley'a cask or black sheep as two of the 5 but be a bit more adventurous with the rest, rather than stick 3 blondes on! However saying that, the pub was right as rain. Decently priced and came away feeling I'd had a good night, and at the end of the day...that's what you're looking for!

This place has been reopened for about 2 years and is certainly an improvement! I call in any time I am in the city centre for a beer or few! There is always a people in whether I'm go midweek or over the weekend. There's always been 6 different ales on tap each time I've been, ranging from dark to golden to cater for people of all tastes, or if you are like me, a challenge! The place is owed and run by a fella who looks to be in his mid 20s but who has knowledge of beer and pub welfare well above his years, and his pub reflects that fact! You can quite clearly see he takes pride in the place, his beer and his staff, all of whom are very friendly and welcoming! Great place to go for a pint, an hour or for the evening!

The Turls Green, Bradford
A Wetherspoon's pub in the newly upgraded centenary city park. The pub itself has just been upgraded too. It's not a bad place, always has a good standard of beer with two bars, the larger of which is downstairs. I do like the beer festivals that they run! Foods not bad, but not high quality pub grub.
