Delirium Tremens on draft (not cheap but hey...) and a bunch of Belgian beers in bottles including Boon Gueuze. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice!

The Liberty Bounds, Tower Hill
Visited here for recent spoons beer-fest in Oct 08 and received shockingly bad service, only 1 member of staff for a busy bar and only 3 real ales available and two of those were the usual beers, only 1 guest beer on during a festival is an absolute disgrace and sadly I have not been back since and will not venture to do so again. Disappointed though as this used to be a decent place to meet friends for a beer or two...

Been here a few times and waht an awesomely good pub. Superbly kept ales and a large range to quench even the heartiest of thirsts. Not forgetting, of course, the legendary salt beef sarnies, immensely recommended boozer!

The Norfolk Arms, Russell Square
Visited this place on 28th November 2008 as part of a "Counties" crawl. The barman was surly and unwelcoming and seemed unimpressed that we were there for beer only. The prices are extorionate. I would not recommend this place at all and it only gets a 1 because it actually serves beer.

lovely old fashioned pub with a nice selection of guest beers, including Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Harveys. A must place to visit at lunchtime to sample the delicious sausage menu, yumm!
Can get busy but that's the reason to visit, it's not popular by accident.

St Stephens Tavern, Westminster
Excellent pub, with good, well kept beers, decent food and great service. It can get busy after 6pm weekdays but it's well worth the effort just to soak up the atmosphere and ambience. I now regard this as my local as I work about 5 minutes walk away and can often be seen propping up the bar.

The Old Prince of Orange, Gravesend
3rd visit in the last month or so and the new landlord has cleared out the riff raff, has plans to turn this into a multiuse venue. Pub/restaurant/function venue.
CAMRA members welcome, two beers on, Musket Brewery Muzzleloader and St Austell Tribute. Worth a visit and if you're local, support your local boozers!
