The Southwark Tavern, London Bridge
3rd time visited and had a really nice Saturday lunchtime. Food was really excellent not too expensive (but not cheap). Staff all were welcoming and friendly and clearly making an effort - not as busy as I thought for the time of day. Loved the ThaiBo beer from Wales which was recommended by the barman. All round I was impressed and won't waste my time in the other boozers around London Bridge when I can get a cracking pint here.

The Barrowboy and Banker, London Bridge
Used this pub for years as you could rely on a decent pint from a Fullers show pub.
Got a shock last Friday when I popped in for a quickie before the train. 4.70 a pint and the two I had were poorly kept (and I had to send the first one back).
Hope my experience was a one off. There are few boozers around London Bridge where you can rely on the beer.

Ye Old Red Cow, Smithfield
Great little pub that serves locally crafted beers. Always a new taste experience. Love the place
