Your low rating of this pub is totally unfair.
The tavern allows admitance to those wearing a wrist band regardless of how closely they resemble the Mitchell brothers. Those wrist bands sell out very early (before 4pm usually) on bank holidays.
That's as much tact as I can muster.

Jason is still the manager and what a great job he does there; probably London's best gay bar. Fantastic diverse mix of nights, friendly staff, reasonable prices, clean, good security.
You'd think I work for the place the way this review is going but go and see for yourself. It really is this good (though if you go on Sundays brace yourself for some fairly high levels of hedonism...)

Nearly a year on, change of management but the same crap music, insolent staff and passable food.

Was better when they first did the conversion but the quality of the food has gotten worse and worse. Live next door so used to be a regular for food here but it's so poor now we avoid. Shame as you can only access the best room if you're eating. Service is still friendly but the food just isn't worth what you pay.

This place gets worse and worse; it took them 3 weeks to sort out the dish washer so everyone had to drink out of plastic and the last time I was in there the concept of a bottle of bleach was beyond them; the toilets stank so badly my nose-hair fried.
Brain dead graffitti but then if you don't respect your customers, why should they respect you?

Great place for a good value lunchtime meal, though if you go more than once a week the music will drive you mad: same songs, same tme, EVERY DAY!
Yes it's gay, some people are, get over it.

Louhannah Bar and Restaurant, Putney
This pub has now closed and reopened as the Be @ 1
2-4-1 Cocktails 5-7pm seems popular..

Well they closed and refurbished this place after the smoking ban came in and it's still a fly-blown dump. Toilets disgraceful so god knows what the cellar is like. Often felt sick after drinking draught here so switched to bottles. Staff are attitude-ridden queens.
Only the clientele make it bearable :-)
Manager has a "DJ" in on a Saturday so converstaion is impossible, he'd obviously rather be running a club than the potentially cracking traditional Gay boozer he has...

The Bricklayers Arms, Putney
Can be quiet but it's a back street pub. Staff are friendly and the Tmiothy Tailors beer excellent. I was lucky enough to get a seat by the blazing fire back in January as the heavy snow hit. I was praying to get snowed in.
