The Wellington, Wellington

Went to "The Welly" with my girlfriend for an evening meal a few weeks ago and had been warned about how good the restaurant was. I was not disappointed at all. Well worth the 3hr drive from Bournemouth, and all the awards the pub have won are totally deserved on this showing. Congrats on a great establishment.

The Jolly Sailor, Burseldon

The Jolly has been through quite a few changes in management the last 2 years but think they have got it right again now. Went in for dinner on sunday night and was chuffed to see the service, atmosphere, decor, beer and staff were back upto scratch. the food has always been awesome and there is no better location in the south. Well done The Jolly!

Jolly Sailor, Poole

Great location, interesting customers. Nipped in for a quick one but left pretty sharpish. Good pub atmosphere.

Mint, Poole

I went to Mint last Saturday and have got to say it was the best night out I have had in ages. Having seen some of the clientele around other pubs in Poole we were a bit worried about what we would find at its "most popular night club". To my huge relief we found the place to be commendably chav free. The prices were a bit higher than a regular pub but no more expensive than a Saturday night out in any town. The decor was fantastic, the layout was good and the unisex toilets were a suprise. We will definitely be visiting again.
