I can't believe how far this pub has fallen.
The last three times I have been in ,there have been only 3 or 4 beers on.
Idon't think I'll bother visiting again and even though I don't live nearby I used to go regularly.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Stamford Brook
A decent place but the prices for the real ale(served straight from the cask)
are extortionate, either 3.50 or 4.00 according to the beer's ABV.
It is more expensive than it's 'sister' pub the Bree Louise at Euston!

The Crown and Cushion, Manchester
Sad it has been demolished.I used to go here three or four times a week when I worked in Manchester 20 years ago.It was very cheap and the beer was good but it was never that busy.

I totally agree about the prices.I live in London but visit Manchester 4-5 times per year. The last time about 3 months ago I had a pint of Wheat Stout and it was 4.25!!!!
I queried this with the barman as I thought it should have been 3.25 ,but
 4.25 was correct.
Living in London I am used to high prices but Manchester pubs in general are catching up quickly.
Still it's a fantastic pub and I'll be there again in 2 weeks.

I used to like this pub but having been threatened twice(once for wearing a suit and once for coming from the north)by some low life customer I never go here now.

The best pub in Manchester (if not the UK).
I live in London now but I used to go in every day in the old John Worthington days when I worked at Thomson House.

The Fox and Anchor, Smithfield
A very good pub with great beer, but are the pewter tankards a full pint?I have my doubts.

Princess Victoria, Shepherds Bush
At last a decent pub on Uxbridge Road near my house. However 3.30 for a pint of Landlord or Pride is over the top. This is Shepherd's Bush not the West End!

I visited the Red Lion yesterday for the first time in months. The beer was as good as ever but the decor is now very good. The refurbishment has worked well.

This is a good pub but on the last two occasions I have been, there was no Landlord or Ram Tam available and the stronger beer although only about 4.7% was 3.

The Wenlock Arms, Hoxton
I went here last night for the first time in about two years.
What a great improvement. It is now clean with decent toilets but still a traditional pub Great choice of ales and for those who want to pay sky high prices for so called craft beers also a good range.
