The Globe on the Lake, Alresford

New management ( from late June 2013 ) has recruited great staff and improved service as a result.

The food has a simpler menu with daily specials in addition and I can recommend the massive fish and chips!

The new owner believes in putting in the effort to ensure success and has created a pleasant happy atmosphere for customers and staff.

A clearly expensive and thorough refurbishment by Fullers has restored this pub to its rightful place as the best pub in town.

The friendly atmosphere has been restored too, with women again feeling free to visit on their Thursday nights out with friends.

The Horse and Groom, Alresford

This pub used to be the best pub in the town.
Its now the worst, with fights swearing inside and out and a total lack of control of the worst customers.
The neighbours of this pub are totally fed up with the behaviour of customers and would dearly like the current management to accept that their lack of management is unacceptable in a quiet market town.
Please leave and let us get our town centre back.
