| Dropped in on the bounce after rejecting the White Cross on the basis of a wall of vile dinner smells greeting one on opening their door. Good move. Busy, but relaxed and uncrowded boozer, nice bar staff, great pint of Winter Warmer, unobtrusive music in background; fire; nice and warm. Good town centre pub.
