| The previous review sounds a bit landlordish. Anyway this pub certainly looks better from the outside than in, not that is was a dump or anything like that i just thought it had a poor seating arrangement and not much atmosphere. | I hear this pub has got a new landlord a young guy from saltash,an has changed it from what it was,a complete mess,fights every weekend hardly open threw the week.The new landlord seems nice an friendly likes to chat to the punters he pops in few times a week doing odd jobs getting the pub back on its feet.Think his uncle runs it for him who is friendly.Theres a good selection of drinks now,alcopops lagers beers cidar an ales which is better from what we had from the last landlord,which was what you see was what you got with there drinks!I used to work in this pub 3 years ago before it went down hill but this pub has totaly turned around they got nice staff behind the bar sunday roasts every week for couple quid,just needs some new furniture but im sure the new landlord will get there soon.I go to this pub every week with my boyfriend and there Karaoke nites are brilliant this pub has really changed to the better now an I think is the best pub in launceston anonymous - 24 Mar 2007 13:45 |
