| Best described as a 'road-side' pub which fails to utilise its hidden potential. 3 original hand pulls stand idle. The old and ornate interior remains basically intact but like the hand pulls, needs revitalising. Perhaps it's just the area - Kirby - where customers seem to know little or nothing about quality real ales and so there is no demand? Shame really.
