Waters wet, skys blue, women have secrets... reflex is reflex. Politeness personified on the door and behind the bar, shockingly most of the clientele too. Which is a marked contrast to that of the Broad Street incarnation. You put those things in front of the fact Ive chosen to walk into an 80s bar, I see no reason how Id find anything to complain about. EnfieldTaaaanBlud - 30 Aug 2012 14:36 |
80s bar that plays what was worst about that era (you won't get any NWOBHM, Indie or Thrash played in here). Overpriced, sloppy service, safer to drink bottled beer if you are unfortunate enough to end up in here. Don't recall seeing any bitter on sale, certainly not real ale. Avoid eye contact, with the numerous packs of shaven headed chavs, or you may end up eating through a straw. Plenty of ladies frequent the place, if sows in lipstick are your preference. If this hasn't put you off, it is free to get in before 10pm at weekends. son_of_odin - 8 Sep 2010 07:42 |
It's Reflex. If you don't want to go to some god awful 80s-themed tacky bar and listen to 80s music (bad Culture Club type, not good Mike & The Mechanics type), then don't go. If you do want to have the above night out, then do. In my opinion, it's awful. berkfromtrapdoor - 24 Aug 2010 17:45 |
im an 80's fan myself but this is the worst reflex in Birmingham have been going there for a few occasions and the longest so far i have had to wait at the bar is 29 minutes, the staff are quite basically not good too slow and under staffed.also this Reflex has the same track listing every week if you go a few times you will get to know the track list very well. iceman_8000 - 15 Dec 2008 11:42 |
