| Things seem to have waned somewhat since the conversion into a "Flaming Grill" pub and the retirement of the former landlord. | My Mum worked at this pub when the Highman's owned it. I visited from the US several years ago. It's changed a great deal for the better. The bowling greens outside is where my grand-dad used to bowl. My husband & I found the pub food excellent. In fact my husband still talks about it. Well worth the visit. expat - 21 Dec 2004 16:42 |
