My last Cambridge pub of the day on New Year's Day was this Milton Brewery establishment on the southern outskirts of the city, amidst a modern housing development. It was quiet inside. But there were 5 or 6 customers in the larger of the 2 bars. Ales were mostly from Milton - Pegasus, Medusa, Sparta, Justinian & Mammon. There were also guests from Milk Street - Zig Zag Stout & Session Ale & Banks & Taylor Santa's Slayer. The cider was Abrahalls Thundering Molly. A bit out of the way. But worth the trek out of town. blue_scrumpy - 5 Jan 2017 21:06 |
The Queen Edith opened 24th April 2015. It is a completely new pub, close to the site of the demolished old one. Beer is from Milton Brewery and guests. Food is excellent. Early days but good. rn5506 - 28 Apr 2015 12:44 |
Pub now closed down! glennon37 - 10 Mar 2013 17:52 |
Underrated estate pub - traditional and welcoming, excellent beer quality (try the Mild), and cheap pub food e.g. pizzas. mtaylor40 - 21 Nov 2011 23:04 |
