Bass and Pride. Solid looking building - has undergone an interesting refurbishment inside which has removed all original character, but has created a modern yet atmosphere. The conversion has used bare brick and large stone tiles to create texture and an awareness of the past. OK. SilkTork - 24 Oct 2013 14:48 |
awful, chav-infested dump of a pub. cheap lager but it tastes poor at best. hbee - 27 Dec 2012 15:42 |
Popped in one afternoon..could not relax as a bunch of load mouthed "Chavs" sitting around the bar. Shame as the pub looks the part from the outside but the days of it being the "in pub" are far gone. cheekechape - 26 Oct 2010 09:56 |
Used to be great. (See Old Sugarloaf) now run down with chavs and hooligans with no shirts on swearing at the top of their drunken voices at the football on the tv. Ale is very poor, cheap wine is expensive. Only go in if you drink lager and you don't have a lady with you. toomuchbeer - 31 Jul 2009 13:40 |
Dull. Three real ales available, but served in filthy glasses and either freezing cold or warm. adamcroft - 30 Jun 2009 09:44 |
