| Closed. The building and site are to be redeveloped. Local residents have been canvassed as to what they would like to see in its place. Suggested uses are a car park for locals and a day nursery. A great pity: it was never really any great shakes as a pub (and I go back 35 years) and always seemed a sad waste of an attractive building in a good location. | Strange place, bar to the right, what seems like work ceing carried out to the left? Maybe someone can tell us whats going on?
