F**k me why not revisit the bar scene in Star Wars, there`s Solo, Greedo, Chewie and an innocent Luke coming in for the early 8am pint of cheap fosters. Its a good un and just great to cash that giro. darloexile - 11 Jul 2015 16:42 |
Called mainly to get a quick breakfast which was fine if standard Wetherspoon fare, and the beer was also good in terms of choice and quality. Better than average experience for this chain. Stamfordian - 7 Jan 2012 13:08 |

Beer festival time, so Wetherspoons made was added to the itinerary. Some cracking beers, especially the SriLankan stout and I also really liked the perry. A really friendly pub and special thanks to the barman who was really helpful and allowed a few small samplers for the less brave member of our group. Dylanwing - 31 Oct 2010 20:40 |
A traditional old style Wetherspoon. I don't drink here very often as I live 30 miles away. I have never experienced anything but excellent beer and very friendly efficient staff. Ok the place is a little dated but is always clean. The staff and managers seem to know everyone and if they don't they soon do. The manager I was talking to about the beers remembered me from over 6 months ago when I last saw him. Many new beers appear here along with local micros. Never a bad pint or experience.
