Reverted to it's original name of The Crown. Part of the South Coast Inns chain who have refurbished the place. It now has several B&B rooms & the nightclub has gone. Good food menu. Much friendlier and more welcoming. Usually one or two real ales available from the Molson Coors list. Decent choice for lager drinkers too. ropey2 - 19 Aug 2022 14:58 |
All day breakfast is the best in Hailsham. aquinaszero - 25 Feb 2012 15:25 |
The Corn Exchange is in the heart of Hailsham's High Street. The decor is modern and clean and a nice environment has been created by the landlord, particularly in the larger bar. There are two bars and an attached venue used as a nightclub at the weekends. The pub attracts a mixed crowd in terms of age, from shoppers during the day to the younger crowd on a Friday/Saturday night. Food is served all day and is generally reasonably priced compared to some pubs in the area. They do a cracking all day breakfast which also includes toast and a cup of tea. Lovely! aquinaszero - 25 Nov 2009 00:26 |
