Would never come back to this pub.
Firstly had a glass of wine was given a dirty glass with lipstick on and I asked the barmaid to change my glass she didn't even say sorry Just looked at me like I was being fussy.
We all ordered and I had the lasagna it came out burnt on one side and when I tasted it was the worst I had ever tasted. My partner asked for some BBQ sauce
And was charged £1 for the smallest bit.
After we had finished no empty plates was at least half left on each plate we sat there for 30 mins and when we left plates was still on the table worst service and food.

I would just like to comment on Charley19 review I was there with my family on the Sunday they mentioned and I had no problems what so ever, yes it was loud but the pub had an easter egg hunt from 12 until 4pm for children also horse riding in the car park apon asking where the horses came from I was informed that the managers had paid out of their own pockets for the entertainment for the children and that is good in my opion. I have been back every week since with my family to take advantage of the great deals that they offer. I would highly recommend to anyone with or without children to visit the dutch house and think it would be a great shame if McDonalds were to take over.

We have been going to the pub for many years, then it got took under new management, it went down hill! We ordered or meal, when it got delivered it was stone cold, so we had to ask for a new dish, and it seemed like it was just stuck in the microwave. There was two girl one who was about 12 and the other about 4, they was walking around in dirty stained and tatty baby grows/onesies and with no shoes on. They were walking round spraying disinfectant on the tables and whipping them down with dirty cloths. We paid extra money to "GO LARGE" we expected more meat and roast potatoes, and we got dollop of lumpy very lumpy mash, and one more frozen Yorkshire pudding. Also the peas were hard, carrots were tined, meat was processed and the gravy was cold and lumpy. During the meal we no tested more then several people/children running in and out of the kitchen. None of the people who were wondering in and out of the kitchen had there hair tied back. One waitress took a plate of food to one table and she complained about her food being cold. And at the same time she was taking a call on her mobile phone. Next to the freezing cold restraint area, there was so much noise coming from the bar with men and women swearing and shouting. There was not enuf knifes and forks so the waitress took them out of a jug of cloudy and brown water that was soaking at the bar. When she bought over the meal we never had knifes and fork, but where we pre booked the table we expected them to be ready for us. People were asking for there money back. As people was leaving thy was telling people not to eat hear (wish they told us!) WE WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE, THE BEST THING THEY CAN TO IS TURN IT INTO A MCDONALD'S!!

went in today,it was fine, had a nice steak which was well cooked. The cheep wine was nice for the price. We had a pudding to share and it was good. The staff were friendly and the tables clean. I had heard bad reports about the pub however I enjoyed my visit and would recommend it for a late lunch and a cheep bite to eat! Thank you to the staff and the person who cooked my steak today.
