| A listed pub that has now become Cask marque. Two hand pumps but both were selling Thwaites wainwrights which was on good form. Pub sells food and has offers throughout the week. Today was Steak night, to be fair it was value for money. Caskales - 21 May 2019 17:18 |
| Only took 12 months for the riff raff to return, carvery now 7.99 still a gutbuster, not too sure what has happened to the beer since xmas 07 - maybe the landlord is buying cheap out of date stock - all draught ale seems flat / old / not what the pump is labelled up as. | Just been very tastefully done up - riff raff that used to frequent the pub are now barred - smart/casual dress prefferred. Carvery opens tonight �4.99 per head - looking forward to it. No real ale but acceptable offerings. thecoop - 29 Jun 2006 13:55 |
