| something has changed over the last couple of months here because when i went here this evening there was very little of the scally element from previous visits. they've changed the music too which has really chilled it out. door staff were pleasant enough and i had a lovely pint of Kronenburg (which was quite reasonably priced) I would have preferred them to have had real ale as all the rest of the decent pubs in didsbury have but i was assurred by the bar staff that they were coming during their refurbishment in a fortnight. so happy days, i'll come back then and see how they are. All in all a nice experience, especially compared to the hole next door which seam do delight in closing at very random times. annoying!!! pwb - 7 Mar 2009 23:23 |

| staff are decent enough in here, the BEER IS P*SS so dont bother, but the staff merrily served me up a pint of white wine spritzer to numb the maddening verbiage of manchesters ignorant booze swilling clowns. also had a chat with a chap in the toilet about pheramone wipes and the sh*t you can buy in those condom dispensers, most intelligent chat I had in didsbury all night. | i wouldn't recommend this pub.... a drunk, verbally attacked my wife and the pubs stance was for the man to be bought/given(?) another drink at the bar, we did not feel safe and can honesly say we will not go back!!! icky_sky - 11 Feb 2006 18:03 |
