The Old White Hart is one of 5 pubs in the centre of this lovely village. All are in a very short walking distance. So the town makes a great place for a pub crawl. The Old White Hart is another historic building and it felt like quite a sedate place, with more of a middle-aged crowd. Landlord, Old Speckled Hen & Rev James were the 3 ales on offer. I only found the small bar. There is a corridor leading to the toilets. No toilet paper in the gents. Still a nice village local.

it's nearly one year since Graham Morgan and family took over the Old White Hart. since then we have seen the pub transformed into an atmospheric haven.....the finest selection of guest real ales, fine wines and traditional pub fayre to melt in your mouth.

We have also seen many successful events- victorian fayre was amazing! Weekly live music, themed evening banquets..to name but a few.

I recommend this pub to any real ale lover, families, or a group of friends wanting to catch up in front of the real fire...truely the best pub in Llantwit Major!!!

I would just like to wish the Morgan family all the best with the pub. I have already had a beer or two and enjoy every drop "watch out the plough" Mr Morgan is back! I would say bigger but that would be wrong but he is better.
All the best for the Future I am sure we will see some great things at The old White Hart Inn and not just the girls behind the bar.

Update time, we had a meal here on the evening of 15 March, very good and some real improvements have been made since our last visit ie. beer is well kept now and no sign of any foul mouthed oafs. Big improvements 7/10

Always a last resort for me, always the most boring pub in town, only to be frequented when everywhere else was full, not that "full" is an issue in Llantwit these days. T'was like a ghost town on my last visit
