It is a bit worn but it very much a pub and a pretty traditional one at that.
Staff very friendly, well kept good range of beer and would definitely recommend it.

I''ve been here a couple of times and enjoyed it. The beer was good, the food was basic but good, and the staff seemed pleased to see us. Possible down side: although it seemed clean, it looks a bit worn - lots of bums have sat on those seat covers over the years.

Agree with several comments, warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere and pleasant bar staff. Popped in for quick 2 on sturdy night , good range of beers . I don't know how I missed it in my monthly walk between Euston and Oxford Circus ! I'll be back

My favourite Fitzrovia pub. Family run , traditional corner boozer.

Great smiley service and a nice laid back atmosphere.

Bob Dickens played his first gig here and Charles Dylan lived in the cellar.

Cracking real ale pub with an atmosphere of the old Fitzrovia about it. Five superbly kept real ales. Nice bar staff. Clientele mainly male but nothing testosterone-fuelled about it. I could bring my dear old mum here. I will definitely visit it again.
