It's been done up since anonymous was last here and has reinvented itself as 'The Sizzling True Briton'. Unfortunately the sizzling appears to have stopped - if it ever started. Insipid, unispired, unimaginative - about as enticing as a linoleum sandwich. Still best avoided. DerekDrinkforbrains - 26 Jul 2010 23:50 |
It has about as much 'kerb-side' appeal as a rubbish tip. Waste paper, tins, glasses, etc litter the car park. The paintwork looks half finished. The outside lighting is partially working. Inside = below average wine bar feel. Best avoided! anonymous - 14 Mar 2006 10:49 |
Has the feel of an estate pub even though its not. Most of the pub seems set aside for food but I've never seen many eating. The bar area to the right of the entrance usually has a reasonable atmostphere. anonymous - 15 Jan 2006 16:58 |
