| Had a wake here following a funeral in Jan 2010 - very dissapointed with the service and quality of the buffet. The food ws nearly an hour late being put out and didn't contain all the items on the menu. The dessert course was never put out , which I didn't notice until people were leaving. When I complained to the head barman, he said that they were waiting for me to tell them when we wanted the desserts. I said I wasn't happy with the service so he referred me to the "chef" to come out and see me. The chef claimed to be the manager and told me that today should be his day off ! He then said I must have been shown an out-of-date menu and argued that the food was less than an hour late and the desserts were ready and waiting, so still had to be paid for. 20% was deducted for the items missing from the menu, but then they forgot to deduct my deposit from the bill ! tpolla1 - 16 Mar 2010 19:13 |
