Went in before the Sunderland game on boxing day and it was utter shite. Asked for 2 pints of lager only to be given 2 pre poured pints of what i can only describe as liquid shit and was charged 7 for the privilege. I took them back to the bar to ask if they wouldn't mind changing them and was greeted with a look as though i'd just walked in in a City top. I love the place itself but the staff and beer need a good kick up the arse. reddrinker - 31 Dec 2010 11:45 |
Match days keep the pub going with the competition from the weatherspoons across the road. Reasonable pub for a pint, stocks all the typical drinks. anybody - 29 Sep 2010 18:58 |
Not for the faint hearted but great if your a united fan. Dylarolla - 22 Dec 2009 09:48 |
Yes,this pub is crap! Dark, smelly, shit beer and to top it off the beer is expensive! I used to watch UTD games in here years ago and it used to be better than it is now.Reckon the interior needs a complete overhall.Surely the owners must see the pub is a bit of a dump? A drink in here really is last resort stuff. flumpfig - 18 Mar 2008 12:55 |
