Beer not bad but surroundings a bit 'wine bar' for my taste. Got food poisoning last time I ate here, but was a definite one off!

Excellent pint of Breakspears Bitter, (when they have it).A well thought out venue for the more mature drinker (though Oik's have now started to appear there). No Juke Box (good), No Fruit machines (excellent) and NO TV (must be heaven).

I agree with the anonymous post that the facilities for the disabled were excellent - loo roll, paper and so forth - all present and correct. One could not have said that 10 years ago when the hostelry, under a different name, was frequented by blackguards and those who recycle copper cable.

The staff seemed pleasant enough and the seating at the front was plush enough to render the more portly gentleman almost incapable of escaping it's embrace. The window seats concerned are sited with a view of the state-of-the-art Kingsbury square development and the spectacular new water feature and clock, which all burghers are agreed has been as good as a visit to Lourdes for the town.

I liked this place. The beer was fine and the service excellent. It is very clean and the music was not so loud as to interfere with conversation.

It had very good facilities for the disabled.

Gorgeous surroundings and large range of spirits, however staff could not speak English very well and ordering food was difficult and two of the dishes we chose from the menu were off and we were not told this until after ordering and paying. Slow service on the food but very apologetic for the delays. Overpriced for both drinks and food, however quality was there.
