It's open again and no longer a pub.

Spoke with the site manager on Friday last week on way home from work as i live on the road directly opposite the pub (4th May), it's going to be a high class restaurant with a motel style sleeping quarters.
NOT gona be a pub of any kind.
The only bar in the place will be in the restaurant itself. A heritage of the previous landlady no doubt, as it seems that she was not as honest as people took her to be, yet she has been given another pub somewhere else, or so he was told...

Shut. Currently being refurbed as something - not sure if it's still going to be a pub.

Moved to the area local to this pub and went down for a pint...
i was surprised to find a hive of activity in & around the pub, but was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was in the middle of a refurb and, new tennants taking over the pub.
I was allowed to be shown around, but as the pub has no gas, water or electic yet (inherited from previous landlords issues, i believe), they are not allowed to sell any beer yet...(soon to change tho')...
I was show "before" & "after" pictures of the pubs interior & exterior, and i can assure you viewers out there that the tennants of this pub have some fantastic ideas on returning this pub back to a family pub...not the out-and-out rough boozer that i was told it was...
the exterior has been refreshed with a partial re-paint and they have arranged for hanging baskets & flower boxes to be re-instated at the front to cheer up the approach to the pub, to make it more customer friendly...
The very large exterior garden to the side & rear of the pub has been manicured to bring it up to a high presentation standard, and all the tables/benches have been refurbed as well....
The lounge has been repainted and brought up to standard, and the bar area has been cleaned and polished to match the other areaas.
The tennant assures me that a grand opening week-end is planned, once the services have been re-connected, so all i can say is.....
WATCH THIS SPACE GUYS.....!!!
