| this place has always had a bit of a bad rep. it used to be a bit rough when it was the fletchers, they changed the look of the place after a re-fit and renaming in an attempt to change the client�le. after the change over it was a bit of a nicer place place to drink. still it wasn't perfect,it was still mainly populated by riff raff ,i've had a few pints served from dirty glasses.the new owners who took over after the refit seemed like nice enough people though.and the poker nights were a good idea. although last time I visited a few months back it had changed hands again,place was open but almost totally empty. the new pub owner who took over this year doesn't seem overly friendly and a bit militant and opinionated, might be why the place doesn't have any customers? cm_ - 9 Aug 2009 20:43 |
| I was going to pop in for a quick pint on my way back from Littlehampton but found that the pub is currently being renovated, and is due to re-open as "The Olde Coach House" in thre day's time (as it said on the banner outside.
