This place was renamed the Fat Cat Sherwood. But, it is now closed and surrounded by fencing. blue_scrumpy - 8 Apr 2019 18:36 |
Very average pub by general standards; for Sherwood, though, it's practically a palace! Always 4 ales on tap (although one is the dull and omnipresent Deuchars), kept well. Prices higher than you'd expect out of town, but not too bad. Very 'local' crowd, but not unfriendly. Largely free of the scum who poulate the rest of Sherwood's diabolical boozers. The best of a bad bunch, basically. petewithers - 6 Nov 2007 22:51 |
Cheap food, big screen sport, average Unmemorable atsoutar - 11 Dec 2006 17:05 |
Just about bearable, or should I say beerable. Some OK beers on hand pump, too much smoke though and a tendency for the local kids to get served here - get drunk and get noisy. By far the best pub in Sherwood, although Sherwood is awful for pubs as a whole. beerdragun - 13 Apr 2006 16:05 |
Big bouncy boozer boasting by far the best selection of beers in Sherwood. Cobbo - 15 Jun 2004 21:15 |
