| Stopped for a pint whilst on a bike ride around the peak recently. Great beer, from a choice of four real ales I think it was, inc a couple I'd not come across before. | Perfectly agreeable country pub doing a bit of food, while keeping their drinkers. Interior is a tad boring and uniform, but the charming landlady and friendly locals more than compensate. Well worth stopping by for a pint or two. JoWard25 - 17 Aug 2011 23:55 |
| Good beer with a choice of three or four ales. Didn't try the food, but the menu looked interesting. Pub is nicely done up inside and has a pleasant outdoor seating area. Very good all round and friendly welcome too. twohalves - 15 May 2011 11:26 |
