| Still my favourite pub of all. One thing though, some of the prices are getting a little silly. Justin the owner has opened another establishment with the same name in Beaconsfield, well worth a visit too. Very good food. The ambiance is still one of the main attractions and the pub has several conversational attributes. Can be quite romantic there, good place to go to impress on a first date. Trust me! | Having read about this pub and hearing about it by word of mouth we decided to visit it.WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE! Discreetly hidden off the main road at Stadhampton, upon entering we were politely greeted and ask if we would like to eat. We agreed too and were told that there would be a wait for a table. Whilst waiting we sat at the bar and were served with tip top polite and very courteous staff. The wine list was very extensive and one of the bar staff guided us through some of the wines that we were'nt familiar with.The staff certainly knew what they were talking about, their expertise with the drinks & food menu was exemplary.
