First visit back to the Everyman since its re-opening. The Bistro is downstairs. Don't confuse it with the ground floor bar. There seems to be more of an emphasis on food now than before. There are only 4 handpulls now. 3 were in operation on my visit and the ales were Liverpool Organic Kitty Wilkinson Chocolate & Vanilla Stout & Everyman's Ale & Potbelly Pigs Do Fly. There is no longer any real cider. Didn't quite have the feel of the old Everyman. So it'll probably be a few more years before I'm back. blue_scrumpy - 30 Sep 2014 19:04 |
The rebuilding of The Everyman is finished and there is a Bistro there, but as it's a new building with different management the previous reviews have no relevance. In this area I recommend The Belvedere and The Caledonia for a quiet pint, and The Clove Hitch for a big meal with beer. Oveonhisphone - 28 Apr 2014 03:21 |
this place is a hole....literally. It has been demolished. CanalWalker - 10 May 2012 20:30 |

Came here on 1st October for the Cider festival run in conjunction with the Belvedere. When I asked what ciders they had the barmaid pointed to the bottled ciders in the fridge (the usual Magners etc) and to the draught Thatchers Gold. So, it wasn't exactly a cider festival, so I downed my pint and got out of the place asap. (see my comments about the Belvedere!) mattbeer - 18 Oct 2010 14:50 |
